How I Got Involved in Letterpress Printing: Working with David Sander in wood engraving, eventually opened the door to the larger world of letterpress printing.
 
Presses & Equipment: Seroglia and Challenge repro presses, a Gordon Old-Style platen, and a Rouze Handpress. I've also a number of old engraver's ruling machines. I've an extensive collection of wood engraved prints, printing cuts and engraving equipmment.
 
Work History: I've been an Art teacher for 36 years, (and still teach part-time). I also do workshops in wood engraving.
 
Education: Masters degree in Art Education, Eastern Michigan University.
 
Other Interests/Hobbies: Living in a rural area, enjoying nature, drawing, walking, folk music and accumulating junk.   Group Memberships, if any: APA #622 and a group called the Wood Engravers' Network. It has been going for twelve years now, with engraving print exchanges and summer workshops. It has about 175 members, worldwide. www.woodengraversnet.org
