How I Got Involved in Letterpress Printing: I stumbled upon the Wood Engravers Network web site in 2000 (http://www.woodengravers.net/home.htm) and joined. Learned the basics of wood engraving, then was shown how to print them on a Vandercook by Jim Horton. I was hooked! Attended WEN summer workshops, took a class, and started acquiring equipment.

Presses & Equipment: Vandercook 0 galley press, Damon & Peets platen press (1887), Conrad Etching Press, Hammond saw, 4 cabinets of lead type, some antique; MacBook Pro.

Work History: Communications specialist/art director at the European Institute at U of Notre Dame since 2002; teach workshops at the Box Factory in St. Joseph, MI. I also show in galleries regularly.
