I'm Kristie, I'm 30 years old, I live in Willimantic,
CT. This is probably my first posting to this list. I began doing letterpress printing at the Creative Arts Workshop in New Haven
about a year ago, in a fantastic class taught by Richard Rose. When I made the connection between letterpress and all that really
beautiful printing I'd run across in used bookstores, I decided to start dabbling myself.
I own a sigwalt 6 x 9 which I purchased
from Alan Waring within the last year and have dusted numerous time since. He also gave me tea and donuts while I hung out with him
and his very cool wife.
He set me up with most of the fixings I need. I could use more chases and galleys. I definitely need
to buy some type. & I need a more permananent space than the corner of my bedroom.
Otherwise, I work as a cheesemaker, on
a small diary farm east of here. I'm also into homebrewing, gocco printing, non-commercial radio and agriculture
