How I Got Involved in Letterpress Printing: It started with a bookbinding course I took about ten years ago -- tired of making blank books and looked for ways to add content.  I purchased a Craftsmen press and then took a weekend course with Bonnie Thompson Norman in Seattle.  In 2000, I followed up with an intensive workshop with the Elsteds at Barbarian Press.  Purchased my Vandercook from Don and Craig Black

Presses & Equipment: Vandercook 15-21 (sold the small Craftsmen after acquiring my  Vandercook) - drawers of metal and wood type, especially Bembo, Spectrum and Centaur - dingbats - some bookbinding equipment.

Work History & Education: Technical (stock market) analyst at several brokerage firms in Montreal.  Later returned to university in Montreal and Beijing pursuing degrees and diplomas in Chinese history and Mandarin.  Founded Frog Hollow Press in early 2001 and have just completed my 21st limited edition of Canadian poetry.

Other Interests/Hobbies:  Wood engraving

Group Memberships: Fine Press Book Association, The Alcuin Society (Vancouver).
