I'm new to letterpress with my recently acquired Vandercook #2, but not new to journalism. In fact, my class in publication production at the University of Northern Colorado ("Go West..young man") in Greeley, commenced with a lesson requiring the memorization of the California job case.

 

I live in Ashland, Wis. and am the news editor for The (Bayfield) County Journal, sell ads for BusinessNorth, am publisher/editor of NorthWord (a literary journal) and freelance for a number of other publications. I'm a founder and director of Lakeshore Institute, a writing and graphic arts institute.

 

A self-published poet, I'm a founder of the World Alliance of Word Affliliates.

 

I'm a drummer and a skier, am married to Michelle, have a Australian Shepard and two cats.
