Type and typography have become less of a theory for me and more of something that I can touch and feel - literally. I started out on the smallest of my presses a Sigwalt No. 11 and worked my way up to larger things. All of my presses have been completely rebuilt by me as they were acquired in less than ideal condition. My training and in experience in Graphic Design along with a firm understanding of the proper use of type have given me an excellent foundation with which to make the leap to printing my own work. I am currently happily printing custom wedding invitations, announcements, stationery, and greeting cards. In the future I am planning on acquiring a Vandercook and expanding my catalog to include limited edition handmade books.

How I Got Involved in Letterpress Printing: I sort of worked back-words with an interest in digital font creation and design. As I read more and more about the history of type, typography and printing I fell in love with the real thing - that is a piece of type that I can hold in my hand.
